What a great day for great news!
As you already know that at Chicago Photographic Society, we are running an International Street Photography contest where every dime of entry fees are spent for the prizes, 12 winners get a month long joint exhibition at the gallery space inside Calumet Photographic Goose Island.
Today, I am happy and proud to announce that two big names in Street Photography gave me some exciting news. As most of you know, New York streetphotographer Markus Hartel (one of the featured photographers/speaker at Leica Akademie in 2011)was going to be one of the judges. Today he kindly accepted my offer to do a portfolio critique for one of the winners. But the good news does not end just there: Another world famous street photographer Alex Coghe also was kind enough to accept my invitation to be one of the judges as well. On top of that, Alex will also do a portfolio critique for another winner! It’s a good day for all. Speciall thanks to Markus and Alex for being very supportive and volunteering their valuable time to join forces with Chicago Photographic Society.
